British Columbia
BC is Canada's most western province and one of North America's most mountainous regions. Most of the province is covered by the spectacular mountain ranges of the Rocky Mountains. Given its geographical location, British Columbia is Canada's gateway to the Pacific and Asia. Vancouver is the British Columbia's largest urban center with a population of roughly 2 million. Victoria, on Vancouver Island and Kelowna, in the British Columbia's southern interior follow as 2nd and 3rd largest, respectively. Although Tofino and Ucluelet are two relatively small communities in British Columbia with populations under 2000 each, they boast a tourism industry that attracts over 1 million visitors per year.
