August 28 | Tofino Lantern Festival

Sunday August 28th at the Tofino Botanical Gardens
Festivities begin with face painting, music and fresh food from here
and there at the SOBO Truck.
Lanterns will be lit at dusk
Adults $10, Students $6, Under 12 Free!

A limited supply of Lantern Festival T-shirts, hoodies and posters will be available too.
(Just a reminder that we are on a cash only basis)

Wear your Tofino Tux, a.k.a. - rain gear because the Festival will take place rain or shine.

The Lantern Festival is a car-free event.
Please Bike, Boogie or ride the Beach Bus.
There will be a free shuttle leaving the gazebo in the village green
every half an hour starting at 7 pm.  Thank you Tofino Bus.

Bring your bike and join the 'Lantern Festival Cruiser Ride'.  The ride will start at 7pm
from Coasters Bicycle Supply in the alley behind the Raincoast Interpretive Centre
and will head out to Chesterman Beach and finish at the Festival.

Last Minute Lantern Making Workshop
You can either work on you lantern at the RIC or pick up supplies to take home with you.
Saturday, August 27th 12 Noon - 5 pm
Lantern kits from $10.00 all supplies included
