Tofino Bus also offers local service along the Pacific Rim between Tofino and Ucluelet. Driving time to Tofino from Vancouver is appoximately 7 hours (including your trip on BC Ferries). Travel time by car can vary widely depending on your wait at BC Ferries. We strongly recommend that you make a reservation with BC Ferries if you are travelling to Vancouver Island during the summer months and/or during holiday weekends. A one-way reservation costs about $15 (in addition to regular fees) which guarantees your space on the Ferry.
